About White Shield
White Shield has a Blackfoot and Shoshone background. Inspired
by his first flute purchased in 1992 at a Powwow at Jackson Hole.
Disappointed in the performance of the flute, he began studying the anatomy of
the flute. Later he was introduced to Dr. Bill Hughes of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Studying under Dr. Hughes he increased the technology of his flute making and
playing. It has come closer to tapping into White Shield talents and energy to
their fullest.
He now resides in the western desert of Utah, enjoying
taking time every day to live and enjoy them.
White Shield flutes have helped assist people in healing
and mediations. They have calmed the incarcerated, and directed the lost. They
have helped people through the loss of love ones, and directed them through
hardship of divorces.
